Mission Statement

R.A.A.M.P. Charter Academy of Math and Science is a groundbreaking public educational institution.  Our mission is to provide our students the socio-educational support they need to reverse the cycle of failure and despair prevalent among “at-risk” students, and help them to become educated individuals who are prepared for the challenges of the 21st century.  Through a combination of affective and cognitive education, our students will learn to deal with their emotions, establish social values and morals, and gain the skills needed to apply their knowledge of reading, writing, mathematics, and science in competitive situations.  Our innovative curricular design will allow for authentic learning in a cooperative environment.  The academic program will include mentoring, peer accountability, community involvement, and education in the arts.  Through this holistic educational experience, the students of R.A.A.M.P. Charter Academy will become self-motivated, competent, life-long learners who believe that they are deserving of and can benefit from a well-rounded, quality educational experience.
